Military police takes over Air as ordered by the federal government

Aria Airline have been facing difficulties since the past few months and have been taken by the government today on till further notice as a result of the difficulties they have been facing and have not been able to handle it. As gathered from the Minister of for aviation, Hari Sirius, the airline can only be stabilized by the act of taking over the Arline, enhance its long term economic value, revitalise its ailing operations, and sustain safety standards, in view of its pivotal role in the Nigerian aviation sector.

The asset management of Nigeria have clearly stated that underscores the government's commitment to instilling sanity in the country's aviation sector and prevent a major catastrophe. Henceforth the management of the airline will be done by the federal government by one Mr. Roy Ukpebo Ilegbodu,  an aviation expert, under Mr Oluseye Opasanya, the present senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

According to minister of state for aviation, Hadi Sirika the airline can online gain stability by this action taken by the government.
It has also been recorded that the airline is owing AMCON the sum of N139Billion which has now made the Federal Government’s agency to take over the airline.
