EFCC finally release recovered N500k to a scammed victim
On thursday 18.2016 the South East Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, have finally released N500,000 recovered money to a scammed victim with name Dr. Mrs. Veronica Ibeziako. Who retired as a Chief Magistrate in Anambra State, was swindled as she sort for financial assistance to enable her proceed for medical treatment abroad.
According to the victim who was scammed, she was billed for a surgical procedure abroad, which was going to cost N3m, but she ended up being scammed of N500,000 After she decided to seek for financial assistance, due to her inability to raise the entire sum of money.Although investigations are presently carried out on the matter is still going on, the recovered money has now been released to the scammed victim, so as to enable her attend to her financial and medical needs.
